My Story

I've done traditional art for most of my life, but then made the shift to more digital mediums so I'd be able to take my art anywhere and everywhere and would be able to print it in any way I wanted.

I still cling to my traditional roots, leaning towards a more painterly style frequently and often referencing historical things and historical art motifs and themes. This is most apparent, I think, in my printmaking, where I usually use old seafaring maps as stylistic inspiration. Other historical things I tend to reference are: the Victorian era, the 1920's, medieval herbalism, and various mythos.
